Shanghai Customs Notice of Advance Filing Rule(AFR)
Dear Valued Customers,
Please note that with effective from 10 June, 2014, 24 hours of Advance Filing Rules will be implemented to all importing cargoes at Shanghai port (including transshipment cargo via Shanghai).
To comply with this new rule, all Shippers (Shipping Lines / Companies and Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCC)) must provide a complete and accurate Shipping nstruction (SI) which must be submitted to us 24 hours before CY Closing Date.
If failed to provide the SI before the deadline, their shipment would not be accepted for loading and all extra cost that involved will be on shipper's account.
